The Rule Foundation gratefully accepts bequests and other gifts into The Peter Rule Fund. Your gift sits alongside Peter Rules’ and other bequesters gifts, building a legacy to benefit our communities in Aotearoa today and in the future.

How we administer our Legacy

The Peter Rule Fund is open for applications from community organisations and other initiatives that benefit LGBTI communities throughout the year. Rule Foundation Trustees assess each application on its merit, impact, and available budget for the year.

Funds are distributed to community groups at a rate of approximately 2/3rds of capital growth each year, with an aim to ensure that the capital base and annual distributions grow at a rate faster than inflation. Our Funds as held with Milford Asset Management, a decision which is reviewed regularly to ensure performance and security of holdings is achieved.
